This summer I was hired by D Square Energy for an interesting job: taking photos at a golf event they were having at the Newcastle Golf Club. They didn't need me to shoot the actual tournament, just some of the stuff going on beforehand. This was new type of shoot for me, so I was excited about doing it. I wanted to share some of the pics here on the blog for two reasons 1) I got to use my new wide angle lens which ROCKED and worked really well for some of the photos, so wanted to show that off; and 2) the golf club is gorgeous and would be a great place for a wedding reception or event, so in case anyone needs such a venue, I highly recommend it. The staff was really nice and the grounds were gorgeous. So, here are some of the photos:

This was a fun shoot for me! It's always exciting to have the challenge of doing something new, and experience different shooting conditions.

Kara and I are going to try really hard to keep this blog current! We've been slacking and realize we need to keep things fresh & new around here!
